KTM has announced the recall of the 2022 GASGAS MC 250 closed-course competition motorcycle due to an incorrectly programmed CDI box. This issue can lead to engine failure, posing crash and injury hazards.
Consumers should immediately stop riding the recalled motorcycle and contact an authorized GASGAS Motorcycle dealer to schedule a free repair that involves replacing the CDI box. KTM is contacting all known purchasers directly.
While no incidents or injuries have been reported, the recall affects about 231 units. The model number GASGAS MC 250 is printed on the side panel and/or rear fender of the affected motorcycles.
