The only advice anyone could possibly give about this tire is that it should not be taken on the road. To put it simply, bald tires are not safe.Bald tires can cause a lack of control, hydroplaning, blowouts and understeering. Bald tires in wet weather increase stopping distance.

My advice - time to buy new tires.

No it really isn't worth the risk.
Get it off, get it changed and ride safely.

Trevor Underwood, Get some tire lube and look it up on youtube. It's not rocket science.

Hey the wheel still rotates so technically you can ride it with a tire worn way beyond replacement time. But it would be an illegal and dangerous thing to do, with a high likelihood of problems and/or injuring yourself or other people . Smart choice is replace then ride.

If this is something you need to ask then get a new tire and sell your bike.

Ross Walkey, I'm not selling my bike. i was asking for advice not asking to be made fun of or anything like that. i thought we motorcyclists were a big family due to our love of 2 wheels. i figured I'd get some input from fellow riders.

Trevor Underwood, I think no one wanted to offend you, some people think it's an obvious question
but I think you got some useful tips

You're an adult. Why would you need to ask about a safety item like this? You've already riden past the "this is stupid" point of tire wear.
