Why I bought the Hero 8 black

if your like me and trying to figure how to record the awesomeness of the rides your are on. The market for action camera is chock full of options to choose from. GoPro was not the starter of this concept but they made it passion to make the best camera.

They are expensive!
They do have some quirks unique to them.
They are undoubtedly ugly.
They have huge files that take a while to render.

Still considering the expense I decided to buy one over the other options because of two details. The first was people who have had Go pro 5 and higher have been loving their camera. They commented:

It's simple to use.
Hero 7 and up has really good stabilization software built-in when recording.
It turns on and records quickly to capture video.
Multiple mounts exists to place the camera pretty much anywhere you want. On person or on motorcycle.

As of writing today the GoPro Hero 8 camera with no extras costs 300 to purchase. The resale market however is not so good for them. They drop to 200 and with fingers crossed I just put a bid at 150 bucks and we will see if I can get my hands on one to show what bikers like us will like.
