You can create an event click + and select the event, it will be shown on the map as well as in the local feed, as well as some users from the area will receive a notification about your event, it really works nice

I would love to create the event. But will wait untill the desktop application allows for this. Navigating a cellphone with so much information is painful on the thumbs
