Advice for track riders
Simple real life demonstration on the benefits of working on body position when actively attempting to reduce excessive lean angles for a given speed.
Same bike, rider, corner, speed, day, conditions.
Benefits - improved vision through the turn, reduced fatigue, increased feel through inside arm, more traction (through suspension), increased ground clearance etc etc
Pics taken from GoPro footage morning vs after lunch.
Yellow line - rider’s centreline
Red line - bike’s centreline
Triangle - 45 degrees
Clearly you can see the bike is now leaning less for a given speed in a given turn, while the rider is no longer crossed up on the bike.
Hope this helps illustrate the benefits ??
