MV Agusta Dragster 2100cc

How to build one of the craziest motorcycles in the world? It is necessary to take the chassis from the MV Agusta Dragster 800 and implant a star-shaped aircraft engine into it.

South Australian workshops Sheppard Motorcycles and Kennedy Motorcycles, in collaboration with engine specialists from Radial Motion, decided to create the world's fastest motorcycle with a star-shaped motor. The project received the eloquent name LFO - an abbreviation of Low Flying Object, that is, "low-flying object".

The heart of the incredible machine was the three-cylinder Radial Motion 2100R engine with a cylinder camber angle of 120° and a working volume of 2100 cm3. In the atmospheric version, it is capable of producing up to 240 hp at 10,000 rpm, but in the "supercharged" (you can put both a turbine and a drive supercharger) - up to 260 hp at 8500 rpm.

It is obvious that for a monstrous engine, a transmission and chassis corresponding to its potential are vital. These are the six-speed gearbox, suspensions, brakes, wheels and individual frame elements from the MV Agusta Dragster 800.

Together with this motorcycle, the Australians plan to accelerate to 200 mph (320 km/h) on Geirdner Lake in March 2022 and beat the national (and maybe even world) speed record in the 3000 APS G category. Now in Australia it is equal to 132.37 mph (213.03 km/h), and in the world it is 208.45 mph (335.48 km/h).
