I have decided to get a 2000 suzuki bandit 600. im hoping to pick it up this weekend. anyone got any idea what they are like. I have done a little research on them but would be nice to hear from anyone who knows about them or has owned one. thanks

Great choice, reliable bulletproof machines, well taken care those bike can run for ever.
Bandit's are used a lot as platform base for Streefighters, Naked, Cafe rasers I guess is all in the imagination.

i had a 2000 Bandit 1200 for 6 years and a 2009 1250 for 7 years. They are just like the 600 great reliable bikes and if you are a bit handy, you can do most of your maintenance yourself. Also you can get all sorts of accessories to modify it to suit you better. Great choice.

pretty kickass bike learned to ride street on an 01! regret selling tbh was super reliable! only flaw mine had was a fuel filter from factory that was to large and after a lil crud allowed the bike to run it self out of fuel constantly. after replacing she was a ripper!
