Stuck dB killer Yamaha MT 09 (|XRACE MK2 full system)

I have a MTO9 that came with a full ixrace system. wanted to remove the db killer, but seems it's pretty stuck. Tried grabbing it with pliers, but the handle of the pliers hits the opening, also tried knocking it out through the "grid"? Without any luck. Any ideas on how to get it out? (It was bent before started)
