Paint Job Day 1

Well here's my first ever attempt at painting a bike..... this should be interesting. This is why we call it the fail blog lol we learn by failing....

Well its definitely an improvement but up close one can see a pretty crappy paint job lol. won't stop me from enjoying rolling down the road on her though!...

I got my helmet painted by New Zealand's top Helmet Artist, Dean Lawrence. I gave him a pic of me doing a river crossing, and then he worked his magic, was all airbrushed by hand. personally, I think...

I got the air box cleaned up and my buddy says, the airbox is broken, it's missing some sheet metal. It was missing a corner brace so I made one and brazed it in. It will look fine once it's painted....

Painted the detailing on the tyre walls. Took about an hour - see how long it lasts!...
