My latest project kawasaki 1500 Bobber

This bike was made to order. I received it in this condition

This bike has been a craftsman, but as you can see not very well. The new owner of the motorcycle wanted Bobber, but better quality. It seemed that the work would be a bit, but after two years of inactivity motorcycle sprouted grass and rust. A lot of time was spent on removing corrosion from parts, restoration parts mashed, remove pounds of putty from the tank.
Side mount license plate with brake light.

The rear fender is made of a front fender of a motorcycle IZH, by cutting and adding strips of metal.

Chinese shock absorbers were replaced in OEM shocks.
The seat base is made of fiberglass. As a soft element used latex. Cover is sewn from a 3D imitation leather for motorcycle seats.

Front fender made of fiberglass. Made a homemade mount.

The bike was missing the left side cover. Knowing the price of a used parts from an online store, it was decided to make it independently. Luckily, the city was a motorcycle Suzuki Marauder 1600 which was taken as cover for the manufacture of the mould.

Then the motorcycle was disassembled

Wrinkled chrome parts, it was decided to paint in black color. They were repaired

I painted small parts, wheels, fork and frame, but the tank and wings give to paint in paint shop.

Oxidized and rusty parts were restored by sanding and polishing.

New front tires higher profile, rear -wider.

And a lot of what was done. the process took 5 months... the owner was happy
