Photo report on the trip to the Eshkakon reservoir (Republic of Kazakhstan)

Finally, I have a chance to upload the photo report of my trip to Karachaevo-Cherkessia, to the Eshkakon reservoir. We were there in an extremely unfortunate time of day for photography (day, haze , lack of contrast lighting), but nevertheless there is something to see. The height was up to 2000 meters, there were 4 motorcycles, Yamaha ttr250, Kawasaki klx250, Sherpa 250 and Stealth Trigger.

Part of the road there is wonderful, a dream for an endurist, you can ride and ride, the main thing is to fit into the turns.

At some point, we have lost as usual and decided to rest a little and think, where should we go next? The rushed along the road buggy helped us, as he obviously went where we need (there were no places near where else you can go there), so it was decided to follow him.

Unfortunately there was no chance to capture the middle of the road in the photo, we had some issues, but there were big snow strips, from 500 to 2 km long and up to 20 meters wide, we were already going to move them, as saw several SUVs stuck in the snow to the ears, as it later turned out the depth of snow in these places was from 10 cm to a meter :-) to pave the way it was necessary to walk through it beforehand. In general, there was no time for photos.

And here is the reservoir itself, we did not dare to go down, the territory is protected, and we did not want to leave the motorcycles on top.

This is already the way back, stopped at the pond (it was really strange, surrounded by slabs, it does not flow into one river or stream, but it is not very small), but the place is absolutely wonderful and not far, you can go out there to "sit by the fire " in the evening.
