Husqvarna SM610 - Part 1 - Purchase, start of repair

I always liked this bike, and I periodically looked through the ads, judging the average price of these devices and considering the various options for buying ... And then one day during this process I saw it)

The seller noted the presence of issues in appearance, and it was visible on the photo, but he assured that the moped technically was completely functional. Yes, and the price tag since my last viewing of this ad has fallen by quite a considerable amount.
So I called, agreed to meet, jumped on father's SV1000S and after a few hours, I was at the place.

So I with my friend began to examine the bike.
Some of issues we noticed at once:
- chopped plastic on the right side, rear wing, lack of protection of the radiator on the right and other small plastic elements.
- scratches and other damage of the front fender and muzzle
- absence of the front cover on the exhaust
- 4 spokes in the rear wheel with cut off heads, don't perceive the load. Not noticed right away
- a dull glass of the device panel, the data were read with difficulty in the sun.
- there was a strange sound at the XX turns. It seemed on the normal it thundered even louder ...
BUT the price tag was very good))

The seller mentioned about new pads, chains, stars, a petrol tank with an integrated fuel sensor and bearings in the steering.
So ... Having estimated in my mind the costs of rebuilding the head and buying new plastic, I still bought this bike.

After arriving home, I looked into the carburetor (oh yes, 2006 bike, with Ceyhin FCR41), it turned out that the fuel level, the needle position, and even the quality adjustment on the XX were inadequate ... I've adjusted it. Incidentally it was found out that the branch pipe between the head and the carb was over - you could put a thumb in the hole. In general, I got angry and dismantled the whole bike:

I took out the motor, took off the wheels, the pendulum, the stretcher ... In general, absolutely everything. A bare frame and a lot of details remained. Everything will be painted ...
I got to the most interesting thing) I put the motor on the table. Took out the timing chain tensioner - it came out 14 clicks out of 15 possible, the chain stretched out nowhere else.
I took off the pump, the impeller was unscrewed ...
Has removed the top part of a head:

There are no surprises. Camshaft is beautiful, rocker arm, camshaft bearings, needle bearings without issues. This makes me happy) I took off the head and the cylinder. The gaps of the rings are normal.
The petal valve, as expected, was killed, and not only it, but one of the screws with which it was bolted to the crankcase wasted away.
Everything, starting from the filters of crude oil purification and ending with various alleys of the crankcase, was cleaned.

After the arrival of spare parts, I collected everything in reverse order. In passing, I painted the upper part of the head in red:

In the near future, it is planned to paint the engine covers, frame and stretcher, wheels, as well as order of plastic and other details.
