Day 38 - Mirboo to Mirboo - 132kms

Yep, we didn't make it far this day. After a long sleep in, a late breakfast and some final maintenance on the bikes we had some of the leftover lasagna for lunch. I had a hankering for hot sauce so I went digging through the cupboard and found a strange bottle of Tabasco Pepper Sauce. It was actual Tabasco brand but made in England and almost black in color. (Tabasco from England? WTF?) By the time I finished my meal I came to the realization that it probably wasn't black because it was made in England, but black because it was 20-30 years old but still tasted the same. By then it was already late in the afternoon so we just rode up to Warragul to visit another pair of Alicia's Aunts and Uncles. It was nice and warm when we left and we both dressed accordingly. After a long visit the sun started to set and the temperature dropped off dramatically. The 45min ride home chilled me to the bone with just my t-shirt and mesh jacket on so we stopped off at the local brewpub in Mirboo North to warm up and have a quick pint. The kitchen closed 5min before we got there so as soon as we were warm enough we saddled back up and made the final 10kms home.
