Remote HillTribe Border Village

Riding for me is about where the bike can take me, rather than the bike itself. So, my Kawasaki dtracker (KLX-s) 250cc is perfect for reaching rugged locations.

This rural hilltribe area is on the border between Myanmar (Burma) and Thailand.

I stayed in a simple bamboo hut on stilts perched half on and half off the rocky mountainside.

Gaps on the floor but a mosquito net kept the bugs out.

I tried to make it right to the very border edge, but the deeply rutted dirt road got the better of me and I fell.

I got myself up, dusted myself off, turned back and headed to a cave instead, which I took a boat ride through.

If reading about these kinds of things interests you, then I wrote a full trip report about it here: https://motogirlthailand.com/ban-jabo-hilltribe-territory

..and if video is more of your thing, then I have a video here:

safe travels 🙏 ❤😊
