Battery maintenance

Whenever I feel the starter motor slightly weaker, I remove the battery (about every 5 months) to do maintenance: add distilled water, charge it a little and it goes back to place, working well for another 5 or 6 months. Apart from the original battery, this is the one that lasted longer. I also realize that I have already thrown away many batteries that could be recovered. That's why I suggest checking the water level in the battery at most every 6 months. You will find that they are almost or completely dry. If maintained, they last much longer
