Tear-Down
I started taking things apart today on the GB and I got more excited as I realized how easy this bike is to work on. I'm accustomed to working on sophisticated modern sportbikes so I revelled in the elegant simplicity of this old air-cooled single.
carb easily removed
rear wheel, seat, tank and side covers are off
Those side covers are steel. A nice touch of quality. The shop manual was included with the bike.
Mikuni slider carb that was installed. I have the original as well. I'll have a look at the floats and the gasket to see if I can find where the leak is coming from.
