Honda GL1800 – Fork

In this small report I will tell you how to service the fork of the Honda GL 1800 motorcycle. Since the bike is very heavy, and the fork is honestly a bit thin for such weight, it has to be serviced often. In this case, the oil seals leaked and here it is in my hands.

I take out the duster, the retaining ring,

and the actual pen itself

The fork guides are in complete disrepair, I immediately change them for new ones, together with oil seals and dust covers.

The guides have deep grooves sawn into them, a couple thousand more and I'll have to replace the slider.

All this composition is assembled in reverse order, fresh oil is poured in.
