Back from the painters:

The clouds part, a single beam of light shines down from the sky revealing the freshly painted tank and fenders and chorus of angels sing in the background. Alright, that didn't actually happen but it sure felt like it When my dad and I went to pick up the tank and fenders from Nate today. They are beautiful. Absolutely stunning. The paint is the right color and the Arctic white band down the middle of the fenders ties it all together. We had to ditch the white stripe down the middle of the tank because of the crack mending in the front. It would have looked lumpy and uneven with the stripe there. It was much easier to cover up the flaw with a solid color rather than 2 different colors.

The tank did not come with triumph badges for the side of the tank so we will have to purchase some. My dad took the badges off of his bike to show what they would look like on the tank. These badges are one of the many styles that changed over time. I looked online at all of the different styles and I just happened to like the kind that my dad has the best.

I also got some behind the scenes pictures of the pieces just primed and ready for paint and additional photos that Nate took when the paint job was freshly done.
