Bike shudders at high speeds

Rebuilt the carbs today and reinstalled them /balanced them. It drives great at lower speeds so I thought it was good to go but when I hopped on the highway, around 100 km per hour, it stopped accelerating. If I tried to apply the throttle more it stated shuddering. Any ideas?
