Motor Mounted... Mostly
The bottom half of the motor is mounted into the bike. This will help when trying to assemble the top half because it means I don't have go continually chase around the bottom half. It is rigidly mounted to make my life easier. In addition to this I cleaned the remaining gasket off of the head of the motor as well as he cylinder.
When I was connecting the fuel line the bolt was stripped. Through some problem solving, a bolt was taken off of a different motor we had lying around the house to be used fory bike. My dad called me re-thread the bolt with the late so it would thread in where we needed it. Not having to buy a new bolt saved me $10 and multiple days of shipping time. I included a video of my father and I threading the bolt with the lathe we have in our basement.
Top: new bolt. Bottom: stripped bolt
