Well that didn't work and so I'm going to order a tap so I can get at it the other way....

Whilst I was idly passing time I've been seriously considering the kick-start problem. This is the problem caused by moving the foot pegs back into the swinging arc of the kick-start. Thus....  

  The plan is to fit a long swing double hinged trials kick-start to the bike and also have the peg able to be lifted up before swinging away.

  Looking at this now it's going to be tight - as I don't have the kick-start to hand I can't offer up to see if I'm going to be OK....

Any brilliant ideas??
