Michael Dunlop suffered a broken pelvis after crashing out in the Southern 100 races on the Isle of Man.
Tyco BMW S1000RR rider was running just behind leader Harrison when he crashed at Castle town Bridge on the second lap of the Senior race.Dunlop was taken to the Nobles Hospital. He has suffered a minor fracture to his pelvis.
Dean Harrison totally dominated in the Southern 100 races, scoring six impressive victories.
The next stage is Ulster Grand Prix.So Michael now has less than a month to recover.The 19-time Isle of Man TT winner spends a difficult season marred by injures. This year Michael managed to break a shoulder and wrist, and now his pelvis.
This year Michael becomes the third most successful rider in the Southern 100’s history with total 23 wins.
