Krämer Motorcycles is a German company, founded by Markus Krämer, a former KTM employee turned independent bike builder, and specializes in track-focused machines powered by KTM engines. The company’s race bike builders have presented their latest GP2R race bike, which uses KTM’s parallel-twin 790 Duke engine within an all-new trellis frame. It will be available from spring 2020 priced at €29,990(that price includes VAT; it’s around $33,382 USD, but would presumably be less if exported since non-EU citizens do not pay VAT). If you place your order prior to October 1, 2019, you’ll be able to choose the color of both the frame and the entire fairing set at no extra cost.

In addition to a new frame with adjustable steering head angle, the GP2R also receives a more powerful 890cc engine, plus a fully-adjustable WP suspension.Krämer Motorcycles plans to launch also a second 850cc version for the US club racing scene. Both versions will be equipped with a programmable engine control system.

With a weight of only 140 kg, the motorcycle produces 128.2bhp and 100 Nmof torque. As an additional option, the clients can order the “Track Service Package” in collaboration with Swiss firm Speedbox (it provides storage, service and transportation of the motorcycle, as well as technical support during training and racing events).

The GP2R race bike was officially unveiled to the public at Barber Motorsports Park Vintage Festival, Alabama.
