Known for its very capable and bonkers off-road and motocross two-wheelers, Swedish motorcycle maker Husqvarna has thrown the covers of its first adventure-tourer, the Husqvarna Norden 901 Concept. Designed for long-distance touring, the Norden 901 Concept was shown to the public at the EICMA 2019 show in Milan, Italy.

Following the release of its first street going motorcycles, the Svartpilen and Vitpilen in 701 and 401 versions, the Norden 901 carries a 899.5 cc parallel-twin, designed for adventure touring. High on the list of design details is rider comfort with the engine providing a balance between lightness and power delivery.

WP Suspension holds up the Norden 901 Concept with adjustable upside-down forks and adjustable rear monoshock. Braking is done with house brand Husqvarna twin-piston callipers in front, clamping dual brake discs covered in crash shields.

Dressing up the Norden 901 Concept further are crash bars surrounding the upper and lower halves of the front of the bike, with a very substantial sump guard made from metal. Also present are sturdy looking hand guards and auxiliary riding lights on either side of the round LED headlight with LED DRLs.

The Husqvarna Norden 901 Concept is also fitted with Husqvarna brand luggage, in this case a pair of soft panniers and small rear top bag. Inside the cockpit a TFT-LCD display is used as an instrument panel with a secondary display above it displaying navigation information.
