Honda has taken the wraps off the 2021 CB1000R streetfighter for global markets.
As part of the model year update, the CB1000R gets slight tweaks to its styling like the redesigned headlamp bezel which is slightly angular and comes with a fly-screen like cover for the instrument display. Honda has also revised the styling of the radiator and side plates and fitted the 2021 model with w-spoke cast-aluminum wheels.
As for features, the 202 Honda CB1000R now sports a USB port under the seat along with a five-inch colour TFT display that is Bluetooth-enabled and features Honda Smartphone Voice Control. While the new CB1000R continues with a 998cc, inline-four cylinder engine that churns out 143bhp, Honda says that it has optimized the programmed fuel-injected for smoother power delivery.
The Japanese manufacturer has also added a CB1000R Black Edition to the range. As its name suggests, the motorcycle featured a blacked-out theme and comes with a quick-shifter as standard. While the updated CB1000R will be available in international markets by the end of this year.
