Harley-Davidson has globally unveiled the 2022 Road Glide line-up. While the standard Road Glide and Road Glide Special were already present in the line-up, the ST variant has been newly added with a few changes over other trims. Moreover, the older CVO Limited has been replaced by the new CVO Road Glide Limited model which is the most touring-focused variant of all.
The new ST variant is aesthetically differentiated by the presence of a slimmer front fender, bronze highlights on the engine and wheels, ‘117’ badge, and the ‘Heavy Breather’ air intake. The motorcycle also gets a single seat, unlike all other variants of the motorcycle which get a provision for the pillion as well. Harley has also changed the tail lamp placement for all variants of the Road Glide.
The Road Glide ST variant is also mechanically different from the standard and Special trims. The biggest difference is in their engine displacement as the new ST gets a larger 1,923cc Milwaukee 117 mill as opposed to 1,750cc and 1,870cc motors in the standard and Special, respectively. Meanwhile, the CVO trim of the bike gets the same engine as the ST. For additional cornering ability, the newest version of the bike also gets raised rear suspension setup.
