How cool is this? A Vintage Volkswagen powered Chopper Trike blast from the past!

1980 VW Powered Scorpion Chopper Trike powered by a solid 1600 cc air-cooled VW engine driving the rear wheels through a 4 speed manual trans axle. Upgraded Weber 32/36 carburetor w/ aluminum dual port intake manifold and exhaust headers this thing really flies.

The Fiberglass Gel Coat body has amazing graphics that depict a desert scene and period correct lines that must be seen to truly appreciate (see all pics) There is the customary drivers seat complete with twist throttle and handlebar mounted horn and turn signal switches that operate correctly along with a right side pedal actuated brake and left pedal clutch. The 4 speed transaxle complete with reverse gear is shifted with the left side mounted shift lever w/ reverse lock out. And you can bring a passenger in comfort and style in the nicely upholstered passenger seat complete with back and arm rests.

There is a nice sized cargo trunk on back complete with top mounted rack to bring it all with you as you head out on the highway looking for adventure (or whatever comes your way)!
