Removing Shoei Residue
I've gotten the lettering off but it left the Shoei lettering residue behind. I've tried WD-40, Goo Gone, and high heat but nothing seems to be working. What are some alternative methods can use?...

It is fine. Search Youtube for "how a motorcycle transmission works". The clutch takes the drive pressure off the input shaft to make it easier for the spline drive dogs to engage with a gear. As you discovered, as long as there isn't drive pressure on the gear, you can shift without the clutch. Some caution is warranted though, transmission work is expensive.
Is my tranmission ruined?

doesnt really look like they are glaced but its hard to tell from the picture. what i can tell you from the picture is that your brakes need maintenance. the wear is very uneven wich leads me to believe that your pistons dont apply the same pressure. that could also be the reason why the brakes are screetching.
Are my brake pads glazed??

Atleast your okay.
Always check your tire pressure after getting new tires.

Assuming it's not rusting through, ie the rust has affected the tank structurally, you can just chuck some nuts and bolts and screws in the tank, and shake it or set up a jig to keep it tumbling to remove loose rust. Then buy a fuel tank sealer, which is basically an epoxy coating which you pour in the tank and move it around and pour out the excess, and it creates new coating inside the tank.
How much rust is too much in the fuel tank?

Try acetone. There are nail polish removers that are 100% acetone. It's less polar than rubbing alcohol so it should do better at dissolving the glue. If you're concerned with the finish of your helmet you could test it on a small spot somewhere less noticeable first. I don't think it will affect the helmet though.
