International motorcycle show 2019 in New York - Part 1 "Suzuki"

Hey everyone. I visited the motorcycle show in new York again and decided to do a review. There were a lot of interesting things to see in Milan, so I expected to see a lot of interesting things. Brands such as Ducati, Moto Guzzi, and Triumph did not reach the United States, but on the other hand there were KTM, Husqvarna, and more electric bikes. In this time the exhibition was smaller, more manufacturers, but the number of motorcycles was less. I plan a little text and a lot of photos. so let's go…

I'll start with Suzuki. The stand meets one of the expected new products-the new V-Strom. There was an exhibition model in Suzuki racing colors, an XT version with spokes, and regular liter versions.

There was a pre-styling version right next to it, which helps compare the old and the new. I definitely liked the new design more — many people fondly remember the old DR 750 and 800, despite some shortcomings. Many people believe that the motorcycle is still old, only the fairings around it has changed, but this is not the case. V-Strom models have always been famous for comfort for both the rider and the passenger, but the new bike seems to be an exception. The fit seemed quite uncomfortable to me — the handlebar is not high enough, and the seat is not very comfortable. Patrol on the seat, but was unable to find a comfortable position for yourself. It is very inconvenient to hold your hands — your elbows will hurt during a long ride. Also, some design solutions are strange — the height adjustment of the glass is carried out in front, strange protective cage…But most of all I was surprised by the weight-at the level of a large BMW GS, although Suzuki, at the same time, looks much more compact.

There was also a racing motorcycle of Alex Rins, at least so the sign says... Alex himself did not arrive, so it was not possible to confirm this.

Next there are 2 Hayabusa. Quite a popular motorcycle, like their production is going to finish, but the number of people near the bikes, I think they are in a hurry, and the price tag on them is not quite low.

A lot of cross bikes, DR and DR. Whether they sell well, or the company's policy is the same, but the price on them does not fall at all, as well as the models themselves — no innovations for so many years of production.

Next are the GSX-S and R versions. I have nothing to say about these motorcycles, so just a pics.

BOULEVARD of which I looked more like M109R-cool coloring and aggressive look. The seat is very comfortable, and the fit does not quite make you arch your back.

But I did not like the C50T neither the design nor the fit — it seemed narrow handlebar and not very long tank-I could not find a comfortable position. But this is possible because it's just not my type of motorcycle.

there were also 2 more burgmans-400 and 200. Looking at the dashboard, for some reason, I remembered Yamaha. The 400 is very comfortable, but the small model is really small — it is inconvenient for the knees.
