Problems and then....

Ever since I got the bike it was everything I wanted from it. After the first full tank I put in, I noticed that gas was coming out the cap and was leaking all over the place. After racking my brain trying to figure out what was wrong, mechanic found a tear in the gasket. If you know anything about liquids, once they find the smallest tear they push through like nothing is there. $200 later I was annoyed that it happened. Then I park it and look back at it and see it was money well spent?
