Jared Miller's SUZUKI RGV250 VJ22 Red Bull
The owner of this spectacular Suzuki RGV250 VJ22 version (1991-96) is Jared Miller, from South Africa. Both he and his father came to the builder Duane Ceotzee with an engine of a Suzuki RGV250SP VJ22, with its chassis and an old fairing to be rebuilt. The end result was Jared's long-standing yearning to pay tribute to the John Hopkins MotoGP Suzuki he competed with at Laguna Seca 2005, with a special Red Bull decoration.
Around it, a fairing had to be put on which some adjustments had to be made. Inside, the bike was completely disassembled to thoroughly clean the chassis and swingarm. In addition, all the original screws have been maintained but cleaned and renewed so that they are protected against corrosion. When reassembling all the components, they took the opportunity to introduce improvements such as a Nitron adjustable rear shock absorber with remote while the fork has been rebuilt with Andreani material, now fully adjustable, with golden tubes adjusted to the triple seatpost and Tyga half-handlebars, a brand that has made this 2-stroke beast known to us. The wheels have been coated and with new Bridgestone tires. The brakes and crowns have also been cleaned to the maximum. The front brake has a Brembo RCS19 pump with two giant 3-piston Tokico calipers. Behind, they opt for Brembo caliper with Tyga disc, same brand as the footrests.
Cylinders and pistons were in the original dimensions, but the crankshaft was misaligned, which was used to equip it with new components. The engine was opened completely and cleaned and then assembled with new gaskets and seals. The Tyga carbon muffler exhausts give a claw plus, in addition to the unlimited SAPC power control unit that gives the bike racing performance.
For the decoration of this Suzuki RGV250 Red Bull, they counted on Fanie from GSC Custom and the result has been really attractive and faithful. The instrumentation is KOSO, which fits very well with the grand prix style of the rest of the bike.
