I was wondering why it reminded me of Intruder. As it turns out, the VX800 is based on such models as: VS 750 Intruder, Suzuki VS 800 Intruder and Suzuki VS 1400 Intruder

The Suzuki VX 800 model was based on the engine from the Suzuki VS 750 Intruder, enlarged to 805cc (similar to the Suzuki VS 800 Intruder) and utilizing larger carburetors (36mm). Additionally, the motorcycle received a torque limiter from the Suzuki VS 1400 Intruder model. The Suzuki VX 800 engine produced 63 horsepower and 73 Nm of torque. The maximum engine performance was at 6500-7500 rpm. European versions ranged from 45 to 61 horsepower (depending on the specific country). The frame of the Suzuki VX800 is also similar to that used in the Suzuki VS 750 Intruder model, but with some differences.
