7 days to go until TT 2026 qualifying 🏍️

I’m heading to the Isle of Man for the real deal — arriving when the proper racing starts.

This year it’s stacked: Michael Dunlop chasing more history, Peter Hickman pushing the limits on the BMW, and John McGuinness back for another go on the Mountain. Legends, all of them.

Solo trip from Cambridge on the CBR1000RR Fireblade. All in, I’m expecting to add around 1,600 miles to the bike for the full trip there, around the island, and back home.

TT 2026 runs 25th May – 6th June. New 3-rest-day schedule, new Sportbike TT class, and the Senior TT on 6th June will be absolute madness. 236 miles, 6 laps, average speeds over 130mph.
