Adventures of YB125 in Brazil. Part 2

One of the most popular dreams among those who travel around the world is to open their hostel. And we, perhaps, will open a tire workshop)))
We passed more than 15 thousand km on Argentine tires, and maybe it's already time to change it, but you want to set some kind of record.... And then you found a nail on the road, as a reminder - let's finish with your records!

Brazilian araucaria as a species number approximately 200 million years. This has no effect on the person's attitude to these amazing trees ... And while traveling to the south of Brazil you will never think that the position of these trees is deplorable, over the past 200 years, their numbers have been reduced by about 97% of what existed before the arrival of Europeans.

We wanted to see the National Park of Araucaria and went there purposefully and specially. On the spot, we were stunned by beauty and very upset ... This all remind us something... The national park is only called so and is a disparate piece of forest without infrastructure, roads, rangers and in general any attributes of the national park.
The only road leads to a cellulose plant with a foul smelly settler of boiling black slurry that merges into one of the rivers running into the national park... Really sad picture...

Then we got to Florianopolis. For about a year we traveled continuously from Peru through Chile, Argentina and Uruguay. So tired that we took 2 months off, having booked a cozy apartment in walking distance from the ocean. Surfing, fruit, small trips around, work freelancing, watching TV shows, hot showers, washing machine, cooking food in your own kitchen ... It was really cool!!!!

Hello, Florianopolis! Stunning city, partially settled on the mainland, partially crawled to the island. Huge and green, with clean beaches without debris, mangroves and sometimes even clean rivers running into the ocean. It looks like a metropolis, but the number of inhabitants almost reaches only to five hundred thousand.

Sometimes on the coast storms came. 3-4-5 meter waves with a crash came in sets. The biggest waves go at the end of the set and it looks like a war of water and wind. It seems, in this element it is simply impossible to survive ... The power is tremendous.

Between the island and the mainland there are no large storms, there is always quiet, calm and running water in the summer warms up well. And these are ideal conditions for growing oysters. You can not try them here, because they get them just a couple of hours before filing on the table (or sales). And you can taste them not for cosmic money.

Often peeking at the Brazilians :)

In the next parts, we will continue the story about Florianopolis and continue the way through Brazil. Stay with us!
