Cool Moon Ride 8-1-2020

Been super hot here all week so a couple of my friends and I decided on an evening ride. I live East of San Diego not far from the Laguna Mountains. I posted a little event on Facebook and about 8 bikes showed up.
We left around 6:30 and took and hour ride through back twisty roads up to the Mountain. We stopped at a lookout just as the sun was dipping behind the mountainside. Our spot faced East overlooking the mountain valley sprawling into the desert. If you’ve never seen a desert sunset in person, the sand particles floating in the air capture the light and reflect beautiful hues of color.
I definitely need better/more options lights if I’m gonna do any real night riding in rural areas.
