43.000km review (26.719 Miles)

Problems:

I bought the Bike in January 2018 with a total of 23.300km (14.477 miles) from a dealership near my capital. The start was rough with me and the Bike. At the dealership they did a valve adjustment at around 21.000 - 23000 km. So when I arrived at home the timing chain tensioner wasn't were it's supposed to be... the bolts layed on the engine and it was leaking oil. I called the dealership and they fixed it till the next day. Until now this was the only issue which I had with this bike and it was made by the dealership.

Engine and Fuel usage:

The engine itself isnt a powerfull one, only 58hp at 9500rpm and 47nm of torque at 8000rpm. Top speed it around 190-200 km/h (118mph - 124mph). With the 18L fueltank and a average fuel usesage of 3,8 - 4,2 l/ 100km its a sheap bike. The lowest fuel useage I had was around 3,5L / 100km. It is possible to reach 500km (310,6 miles) with one fillup.

Crahes:

I had a few slides with the bike and one medium hard Crash, where I broke my handlebar and my front cover. I crashed at around 30km/h (18,6 mph) into a field. I ordered a new used Cover (80€ / 95$) because a new one would have cost me around 500€!! (595$!!). I ordered a new Handlebar from LSL (Touring one) for around 70€ (83$).

Long travel capacity:

The longest trip i've done was from my capital to the "Largo di Garda" in Italy. One Trip was around 1000km (621miles). Cause of the Touring handlebar my back and my wrist wasn't at all. My butt started hurting a little bit after 300km (186 Miles), but it stoped after a while and I keept Driving. On the entire trip the Bike wasn't beeing a bitch at all. It just kept Working even tho I tortured it a little bit with Offroad on a steep "Road". All this time in Italy I also had my Girlfriend on the Backseat. So with my Girlfriend and me plus the luggage we we're over 200kg (440 lbs) of payload.

Costs/Summary:

The entire time the bike cost me like 10 Cent per Kilometer (0,12 $ per 0,6 miles)(The 1.700€ purchase price included). All in all this bike is a pretty loyal, cheap, working and fun one. I never had a engine issue, or something that way. I only had to change the normal parts like brakepads, tires, Oil. It did cost me that amound of money because I did all the changes myself, so If you want to buy this Bike think about that. The only thing I did not do by myself was a change of the fork seal at the beginning of April 2020 (did cost me like 180€ (214$).

PS: Keep in mind that this bike does not have ABS or anything else. If you want this engine plus ABS look for a Cbf500, its a bit more expensive but Just as good with ABS.
