Triumph Tigher 750 - Progress....

OK progress of a sort. My swing arm has been offered up and fits like a dream but... (you knew that was coming!) it's highlighted some issues with my frame..

Anyway - first things first - here is the swing arm in the frame

and from the rear....

When I put the new swing arm in it was fouling the left hand pillion footrest bracket. It's still really close and it looks like the bracket has been pushed back at some point. There's about a half inch difference between the left and right hangers.

Then I had a close look at the front and noticed that the front footrest plate is also buckled - here's what I mean...

and at the front..

So - has the bike been down the road on it's left side at some point? From a close inspection of the frame that's the only damage I can see. Will this need professional straightening or can I use some heat and force to get this trued up?

As always I would be grateful for your thoughts.

Cheers
