Fork shaft won't come out

Replacing the fork seals on my bike and I can't get the shaft to come out. I've put the forks in a clamp and violently pulled to no avail. The other one came apart just fine. Any ideas? 08' CBR 600RR forks

    Yours should be in the black part at the top.

    There's a little steel clamp you will need to remove.

    Is the shell cracked? Was something heavy inside the helmet? If not, its fine.

    Heat the casting up with a heat gun or propane torch
