It was time to leave Bulgaria and drive through North Macedonia to my next destination:

The city of Berat in Albania. While the first few kilometers in Albania were characterized by far too much chaotic traffic, I was later more than compensated for by the beautiful roads through the mountains. Berat is an old city. Touristy, but also very beautiful.

After two nights, I continued towards Lake Shkodra.

The return trip there was only a moderate success.
