The new Mugen Shinden Nana race e-bike is promised to be presented in three weeks, and this will be the seventh generation of the electric superbike.

The Japanese marque Mugen announced it will return to the Isle of Man TT to win their fifth victory. Chances are more than real for different reasons. First, very weak competition. Secondly, the Mugen team sends three riders at once. Who will be the third rider of the team, is still unknown, but this man will be a partner of John McGuinness and Lee Johnston.

Last year, we watched Guy Martin on the Mugen Shinden. At the moment it is not known whether the British is going to race at Tourist Trophy 2018, although Mugen Shinden is always an attractive option, since the chances of winning are very high.

The Mugen Shinden Nana e-bike will be the evolution of last year's Shinden Roku (pictured) – and there is nothing revolutionary.

Certainly, the main problem of TT Zero is low competition. Manufacturers are not attracted at all by the electric series on the Isle of Man. The main rivals of Mugen are usually small companies or student teams...
