50 years ago BMW Motorrad began production of the BMW /5 series line in Berlin. On July 5 the Motorrad Days event started, where the manufacturer unveiled a special BMW R nineT / 5 model.

The bike has many nice touches as tastefully classic chrome on the mirrors, exhaust manifold, and rear silencer. Some other components are aluminum-finished: engine covers, gearboxes, fork bridges, wheel hubs and spokes.

BMW Motorrad designers have tried to give the motorcycle nostalgic charm in a modern form.The Bavarians also designed a special double seat. The BMW R nineT /5motorcycleis painted in Blue metallic.

The R nineT / 5 is equipped with a standard 1170-ccboxer engine with 110bhp, security systems (ABS, ASC).

BMW haven’t yet announced when the novelty will be available on the market.
