The Austrian built KTM Super Duke R is one of the more aggressive naked sport bikes on the market. With its rather straightforward and taut design, slick engineering, and brutal performance, it competes well with offerings from Ducati, Aprilia, and others. That, of course, hasn't stopped bike customizers and tuners from amping up the looks and performance even more as evidenced by the Louis KTM 1290 Super Duke R Custom. Louis takes the naked aesthetic and magnifies it even further with wild paint, custom frame, and a host of performance upgrades. And this particular build, dubbed the Caty M. Glam with German stuntwoman Mai-Lin Senf behind the bars, is truly a sight to behold.
Custom motorcycle tuner Louis, based out of Hamburg, Germany, has been in the business since 1938. The Caty M. Glam was both a labor of love and a design exercise. The company appreciated the naked sport bike look but wanted something more unique highlighting the shop's skillset. Kay Blanke came up with the design of the bike and Louis techs quickly pulled the stock KTM apart. Every screw and piece of the motor was repainted and reimagined. The subframes and swingarm were tossed in favor of custom units and they were chrome plated with the rest of the bike getting a metalflake paint job. Additionally, a unique flyscreen was added to conceal the instrument panel.
Louis then turned their attention to the KTM's 75-degree 1301cc V-twin and fitting it with revised titanium valves, a 10mm shorter intake and bumping up the compression ratio to 13.6:1. The crank was also modified to smooth out vibrations and the heads have been ported for better flow. The end result is an impressive 174 horsepower and 104 ft.-lbs. of torque. That's downright insane on a bike that weighs under 400 pounds!

The end result is a slick looking and brutal performer that is equally at home on the show circuit, or on the race track as demonstrated by German stuntwoman Mai-Lin Senf at the Glemseck 101 festival in Stuttgart, Germany. Check her out above. Caty competed in the International Sprint competition and she went on to win the first round but Caty was pulled after rideability issues popped up. Caty and Mai look pretty nice though, huh? Buckle up.
