The folks at Indi Custom Garage took a retro-style Yezdi 250 and transformed it into a hardtail bobber style motorcycle. However, while the bike has received a complete visual overhaul, the custom garage retained the engine and dual exhausts from the stock motorcycle.
The Yezdi 250 trades the factory paint for a brown colour that is complemented by golden highlights throughout various panels. Loads of chrome ensures the retro-character of the Yezdi is retained. Up front, the motorcycle features a body-coloured, custom fender that gets golden coloured graphics. The headlight and indicators get chrome housing.
A compact, single-pod instrument console follows the fascia. Steering duties are performed by an aftermarket handlebar gets a chrome finish too. Following the cockpit is a custom fuel tank that features Indi Custom Garage branding on either side. Similar to the front fender, the fuel tank, too features golden coloured graphics. The asymmetrically mounted filler cap gets a chrome finish that adds a neat contrast and a retro-look to the styling.
A custom, tan leather saddle sits on a redesigned sub-frame. The rider-only seat gets a diamond stitch pattern and an integrated leaf spring suspension. Conventional telescopic forks perform shock absorption tasks at the front. The stock forks were replaced with new units. A sissy bar follows the saddle while body coloured back fender with aftermarket tail light finish the design. The rear blinkers, similar to the units at the front, get chrome housing. The rear number plate is mounted on the right side of the motorcycle, thus giving the back a clean look.
The chassis and the sub-frame have revised paint that mixes well with the brown colour of the body& panels. The braking department has received an upgrade too and stopping power at the front is provided by a disc brake.
The motorcycle continues to use the 248.5cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, two-stroke engine that delivers 13 bhp of maximum power at 4,750 rpm and 20.60 Nm of peak torque at 3,500 rpm. The 0-60 km/h acceleration takes 4.6 seconds while the top speed is rated at 110 km/h.
