Most fans of the JAWA brand are well aware of the fact that cooperation with the Argentina-based company “RVM” has a long-standing history. Nevertheless, JAWA Moto spol. s r.o. and RVM Argentina became still closer to each other in 2019.

In the past, there was already some demand in Europe for motorcycles offered in Argentina by RVM which had the logo of the traditional Czech motorcycle manufacturer JAWA. Unfortunately, the legislation associated with homologation and high costs of transportation of the motorcycles to Europe made their sale in Europe unrealistic. However, new projects bring new opportunities as well. The new RVM 500 project has already taken into account the requirements of both the Argentinian and European markets and has produced motorcycles meeting all the requirements and complying with the EURO 5 emission standard.

Scrambler - The second model in the series known as “RVM 500 by JAWA”, an innovation based on the same platform, is a popular Scrambler style motorcycle. As already mentioned, it is a motorcycle of identical basic technical parameters, especially in terms of engine design. The design highlight is the exhaust system, which is dominated by a stylish exhaust system muffler, or an overhung rear wheel; this is absolutely the first time this design element has been used in the offer of our motorcycle range. The motorcycles are available in red and green colours.

The bike has all-LED lighting and rides on wire-spoked wheels

The Jawa RVM 500 scrambler has a muscular fuel tank with extensions, a single-piece stepped-up seat with a ribbed pattern, and a twin-tip upswept exhaust.It also gets a rear tire-hugger-mounted number plate holder, a rounded headlight as well as mirrors, and dual-tone paintwork.The bike packs an LED headlamp, an LED taillight, and runs on wire-spoked wheels.

It runs on a 48hp, 471cc engine

The Jawa RVM 500 scrambler draws power from a 471cc parallel-twin engine that generates a maximum power of 47.6hp at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 43Nm at 6,500rpm. The mill is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

There are disc brakes on both the wheels

To ensure the safety of the rider, the Jawa RVM 500 scrambler is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. It is unclear if ABS is also on offer.Suspension duties on the motorcycle are taken care of by telescopic forks on the front side and a mono-shock unit on the rear end.
