I really wanted to make a bobber. Well, it's good that it did not work .......

PART 1.

It was necessary to look for a suitable model for a long time. As soon as I saw this beauty, I realized it was what I really needed. The frame visually reduces to the axis of the rear wheel. And the fender is quick-detachable. As if the designers originally intended for this. 400 cc was a little, a liter was too much, 650 cc was great! The more so that I didn't ride anything exept a touring bike. Thanks to my friends I received for almost the same money a fresh tuning 2008 bike, while asking a broken rusty shabby bike of the 90s for rework.

So finally we are at home)

But I still didn't have a chance to ride because of the handlebar. It's too high for me.
It would seem to change the handlebar and go riding, but that's not how it turned out.
I bought an aluminum crosscountry handlebar in a hurry, I liked it because of its form.

But it did not fit the size at all. It was too thick, the middle is 28mm and the taper is 22mm. I cut the rack of the handlebar, but it still refused to get up in its place.
Stretch brackets fell on the bend of lifting the trumpet of the handlebar. I decided to make new racks,
raise the handlebar to 100mm and make a hidden wiring through the racks. It was very difficult to explain
turner what and how to do. We couldn't do this without 3d modeling.

So that the handlebar takes its place as expected, I narrow it by 8mm to the lock, on both sides.

Having decided on the sizes, we make the form cutting off all unnecessary.

Well, the work started. It took three months to make it. During this time, the details came from the ebay.

Now prepare all details for painting.

The final result:
