New sports tourer Suzuki GSX-S1000GT 2022

Suzuki decided to make a big surprise for fans of classic sports tours and presented a new Suzuki GSX-S1000GT 2022 motorcycle, designed for traveling long distances on the highway.

The Suzuki GSX-S1000GT is based on the Suzuki GSX-R1000 K6 superbike engine. The American version develops 150 hp of power and 106 Nm of torque. At the same time, the bike weighs 226 kg with all liquids. In general, the motorcycle has enough characteristics from sports, but at the same time it includes a number of tourist features that will make traveling more enjoyable. First, there is the mySPIN app for connecting the bike to a smartphone to output information from the phone to a 6.5-inch LCD screen. Secondly, the lattice stretcher is convenient for installing trunks. The Suzuki GSX-S1000GT+ version immediately comes with 36-liter trunks.

From the point of view of electronics, there are also a lot of interesting things: five-level traction control, cruise control, quickshifter, ABS. Unfortunately, there is no IMU, no angular ABS. All optics are LED.

The fuel tank holds almost 19 liters.

In the dry residue, the Suzuki GSX-S1000GT 2022 is perceived as a liter jixer with a more massive body kit and trunks. We should not ignore the fact that Suzuki engineers have redesigned the engine for tourist needs, namely: they have redesigned the intake/exhaust camshafts, installed new chain tensioners, new valve springs, redesigned the clutch and replaced some parts of the box.

Suzuki GSX-S1000GT 2022 for those who do not want to lay out a round sum for the KTM 1290 Super Duke GT, Ducati SuperSport 950 or BMW R1250RS. The price starts from 14,000 euros.
