BOTK 2018: Top-5 custom bikes

At the end of last year, Harley-Davidson announced the continuation of the successful contest Battle of the Kings. In 2018, 250 Harley-Davidson dealers from more than 20 countries will compete among themselves in creating the best motorcycle, which guarantees getting of truly interesting works. It should be noted that, according to the initiative of dealers from Great Britain and Ireland, the rules of the competition were amended, so that from now ordinary customers will be invited to participate in the competition. The customer's contribution will consist actually in payment of a motorcycle, tuning and works on its customization. If a competitive motorcycle will win a tournament, the dealer will be required to refund the customer's costs partly.

The format of the custom Battle of the Kings implies a number of limitations. So the client has no right to spend more than 7340 US dollars on building a motorcycle, at least half of this sum should make up a budget for the purchase of original tuning and accessories HD Dark Custom. The list of donor models admitted to the battle for the crown of 2018 consists of seven models: Iron 883, Forty-Eight, Roadster, Street 750, Street Rod, Street Bob and Fat Bob. All 250 participants from 21 countries will be divided into separate regions. Then, according to the means of online voting, the brand's fans will choose the five best customs from each region. After this a group of judges will select one finalist from each region. And already in early November, the contest finalists along with their bikes will travel to Milan for the EICMA 2018 exhibition, where the final winner of the Battle of the Kings will be determined.
