Morocco 2017. The final
Smoothly we come to an end of my story about Morocco. Today, it's Marrakech and then we go towards the ferry and Spain. Also I'll write some tips when planning a route for this country.
Villa Yves Saint Laurent with garden
First I want to make a small digression about the hotel in Morocco. Price list for them varied from 20 to 60 euros .60 euros - this is a very decent price. I paid 20 euros in Stefshua for a rather dumb number. Naturally, there are also hotels for 300-400 euros, but this is a bit too much for motorbikers.
Well, no matter how much you pay, the door to the toilet will be a surprise for you.
What I faced:
- curtain in the first hotel
- in the second I was already experienced and checked the presence of the door. It was. But did not close at all
- in the third hotel the door was and I could close it. A strong door with a powerful jamb. As a result, I closed it completely and it did not open
- in the fourth hotel there was a door in the bathroom, and in the toilet there was a curtain. But it's just a normal thing there.
Very beautiful. The color is super, called Major Blue. In shops they sell jars with such a paint
Plants are collected from all over the world
We stopped in the Argan restaurant overlooking the El Fnaa square. The restaurant was really expensive for Morocco, while the quality of food is the same as food in much cheaper places.
A bit of the old town
the streets of the old city. And it's a really madness to go there on the motorcycle. This is one of the wide streets, there are those where my shoulders touched the walls.
Tried to get into the bar in the hotel El Fenn - I was not allowed. I should have booked it earlier.
Around the dirty old city with trading Arabs and Berbers, there is a modern European city with the trade centers, McDonald's and bars where you can drink Moroccan beer (nothing outstanding).
In general, we did not like Marrakech. Inside, I expected Amsterdam's insane mixture against the background of Isfahan's beauties, but it wasn't so.
honestly, the Moroccan cigar is rubbish :)
We did not have time to drive along the ocean coast, eat fish in Essaouira, swim on the beaches of Agadir and Casablanca. View Rabat. But in general, Morocco did not hook us.
And I will return to Africa. 100%.
