Day 40 - Fish Creek to Melbourne - 195kms
Fish Creek, Victoria is a quiet place on Sunday mornings and we wandered around for about an hour until we accepted that nothing but the gas station was going to be open before 9AM. I resorted to eating our pizza from the night before that had sat in our warm hotel room overnight. My first bite had a large chunk of anchovies in it which hadn't improved with 12 hours of warm ageing and cured my hunger for a while. After a nice, freshly prepared breakfast at 9AM we set off to meet Alicia's cousins and their two little nieces. The girls were way more interested in sitting on the motorcycles than meeting their future 2nd cousin in law or whatever I am. Good on em'. After the quick visit we were off to the storage unit to pack the bikes away and fly back to Brisbane+work for me and Adelaide+bachelorette party for Alicia. I think I know who will have more fun but I think I'm OK missing the penis shaped cupcakes or whatever girls do at those things. This trip was a nice change with no long distance to cover and nice easy/lazy days. Stayed tuned for the next adventure when my dad and I take Tasmania by storm!
