BMW K 1300 S Finally Discontinued

I have been reading the reason for the discontinuation of my motorcycles, and the only thing I find is their excessive weight and that it was surpassed by the suzy busa and the ZX14, I with almost 61 years, I only find that the reason is commercial or pure marketing that a motorcycle like the S1000RR sells more, for a young audience, what do you think?
